I earned my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Tennessee in 2009. Subsequently, I achieved my Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2013. As a licensed audiologist in the State of Tennessee (License Number 1641), I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. In addition, I proudly hold memberships in the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. Furthermore, I maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
My professional journey encompasses valuable experience, including collaboration with ear, nose, and throat specialists, other seasoned audiologists, and as a supervisor of students at the University of Tennessee. I am also a member of the Entheos Hearing Cooperative which promotes the benefits of hearing healthcare throughout the country and world through its non-profit arm Hearing the Call.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Jerome, and we are proud parents of three sons, Emerson, Camden, and Benton. Our household also includes three beloved canine companions, Truman, Kirby, and Pip. I indulge in the art of embroidery when the occasion allows.
Growing up in the small and friendly community of Loudon has shaped who I am today. As a proud graduate of Lenoir City High School, the town holds a special place in my heart. Together with my partner and best friend, Sam, we decided to put down roots here, purchasing our first home back in 2020.
Our household is a lively one, filled with the endless antics of our mischievous Dachshund mix, Marley, and our black cat, Edgar, who always keeps us on our toes and infuses our lives with joy. From my cherished collection of houseplants to the vegetable garden I tend to in the summer, there's always something blooming or growing in our home. In my professional life, I've discovered my true calling in audiology, and I'm proud to be a part of the dedicated team at Choice Audiology since June 2022.
I started as the Patient Care Coordinator and moved into the Audiology Assistant role, and I'm currently pursuing further education to obtain my hearing instrument specialist license through online schooling. My journey in audiology is fueled by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives by improving their hearing health and overall well-being. It's not just a career for me; it's a deeply held commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those around me.My enduring passion lies in delivering optimal hearing healthcare to individuals. My desire to open a practice in a small town to deliver high-quality hearing healthcare led to the inception of Choice Audiology. I believe that everyone should have access to the finest hearing healthcare available, making Choice Audiology their first and foremost destination for better hearing.
My name is Jennifer, and I recently relocated to the town of Loudon with my husband and two children. While my son pursues his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at South College, my daughter is a sophomore at Loudon High School and represents them on their swim team. Meanwhile, my husband is in the manufacturing industry, combining his skills and expertise in the field.
When we're not cheering on our children or supporting each other's endeavors, you'll often find us exploring the great outdoors. Camping under the stars, hiking scenic trails, and kayaking are among our favorite activities.I find enjoyment in creating handcrafted jewelry and gifts. My crafted pieces, infused with creativity, can be discovered in several local artisan shops, as well as showcased in various festivals and craft shows throughout the area.
Professionally, I've dedicated the past 25 years to the medical field, and I'm thrilled to embark on a new journey as part of the Choice Audiology family. With a heart for helping others and a commitment to excellence, I look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
My name is Betty and I spent 30 years teaching elementary school in Georgia and was able to retire in 2011. While teaching school I was blessed with two children who have become truly accomplished adults—my daughter, Rebekah, a dedicated doctor of audiology, and my son, Harrison, a cardiac care nurse—I take pride in my family's commitment to caring for others. I am also a grandparent to three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Beyond family, I find fulfillment in solo cruising, scrapbooking and indulging in a good book. I have also been a member of Quilts of Valor Foundation since 2015 and have been involved in producing and presenting over 140 quilts to deserving Veterans.
I support my daughter, Dr. Tripp, in her life’s mission of bringing premier hearing health care to the Loudon community. I’ve been fortunate to answer calls remotely and am one of the friendly voices on the phone since she started Choice Audiology 5 years ago.
